The Journey

My journey into photography began in 2022 in Banff, when I picked up my first camera and started capturing the beauty of wildlife in its natural environment. What started as a simple passion quickly grew into something more, leading me to steadily expand my gear and skills—now working with two camera bodies and a collection of five lenses.

In 2023, I found myself drawn to the night skies of the Okanagan, diving into astrophotography and auroras, learning to capture the stillness and wonder of the stars. That same winter, I stepped into the fast-paced world of live action sports on the ski hill, where I discovered a love for freezing movement and energy in a single frame.

By 2024, my focus expanded to photographing people and live music events—and I haven’t looked back since. There’s something powerful about documenting real moments, emotion, and connection as they unfold.

I’m always working to refine my craft, both by learning from some of Canada’s leading photographers and by getting out into the field as often as possible—often with my dog, Blue, by my side. I’m proud to call Rossland and the Kootenays home, where the creative possibilities are truly endless and inspiration is never far away
